Mono: Art Follows Function

Mono is a collection of control plates inspired by the principles of Bauhaus and based on criteria of simplification and ease of use. Essential and minimal in shape, it always appears identical on the wall regardless of the number of controls present.

Design Elements

Mono's distinctive feature is the presence of a single rocker button that 'hides' 4 buttons located at the cardinal points. As with other PLH products, too Mono has a 2 mm rear shutter, is not only makes the product “float”, but it masks the imperfections of the wall in correspondence with the built-in boxes. The design is also built through the research and development of particular finishes in which artisan techniques merge with industrial processes.

Shapes and Sizes
Solid materials

The Mono's body and button are machined directly from a solid 6082 aluminum block., through the use of CNC machines.
The innovative back of the chassis is 3D printed with Nylon filament.
The surface finishing is performed with the application of a ceramic film patented by the American company CeraKote which improves tactility, resistance and durability.

Aesthetic Versatility

The Mono plates lend themselves to a very wide variety of technical-aesthetic combinations, relying on a palette of 16 colours: bright or warm, selected on the basis of a chromatic gradient that allows for harmonious or contrasting chromatic solutions.
Laser engravings or prints with UV varnishes allow you to characterize the function of the command or add decorations.

complements

The Mono frames are the perfect complement to the range offered by PLH®. They are made with the same processes, in the same materials and with the same finishes as the control plates and are designed to be compatible with some collections of sockets with international standards.
